Community rules
Remain is more fun when everyone's playing the same game. These rules are part of the terms of use.
Play fair
- No cheats, hacks, aimbots, wallhacks, macros or modified game files, and nothing that plays for you.
- Don't exploit bugs on purpose. If you find one that gives an unfair edge, report it instead.
- No teaming in solo: in solo, everyone's on their own side. Working together is what squads and capture the flag are for.
- Don't attack, overload or interfere with the servers or with anyone else's connection.
Your callsign
Your callsign is shown to everyone in your matches and, if you do well, on the public leaderboard. It must not:
- contain slurs, hate or harassment aimed at anyone, or anything sexual;
- pretend to be someone else, including the game's maker;
- include anyone's personal information, yours included, such as a real name, address, phone number or social media handle;
- advertise anything.
The game blocks the worst words in callsigns automatically and swaps in a plain name. Anything that slips through will be removed when it's reported.
Reporting a player
Email danieldenney@bruneseau.com with:
- their callsign, and yours;
- the mode, and roughly when (with your time zone);
- what happened. A screenshot or clip helps a lot.
Every report is read. You won't always hear what was done about it, to protect everyone's privacy.
What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious it is: a callsign reset, your stats removed from the leaderboard or wiped, or being blocked from playing. Cheating and hate get no second chance.
